All I wanted was a motorway lesson to boost my confidence after I hadn’t been brave enough to go on the motorway on my own, and that’s exactly what Julie did for me, given me that extra independence and confidence allowing me to drive on the motorway. I switched to Julie as my driving instructor because my last one wasnt so helpful, but Juile is a massive difference, she gives you lots of help if you are stuck on manouvers and such. I passed today first time with 2 minors and i wouldnt have been able to without her help.

i was struggling with my driving with 2 previus instructors! soon as i had lessons with julie my driving and confidence improved and i was actually a good careful driver and not the crazy 1 i was before lol! now i have passed and driving round on my own wishing i still had julie at the side of me sometimes telling me where to go or laffing at my x factor arms lol 🙂 xxx

Having only moved up to the area and lived here for a short time, I was recommended Julie by my partner having helped her pass. I have lived up and down the UK having had 3 instructors prior to Julie and with out a doubt she was the best out of the lot!! She is a very friendly and patient. After having lessons many years ago at uni I was nervous about starting lessons again but Julie put me at ease straightaway. Julie was very accommodating and goes above and beyond for her pupils. Julie knew when to push me and when to give me some extra support which helped my confidence come on in leaps and bounds. Despite setbacks with covid restrictions and two cancelled tests we persevered and I passed my test first time. Incredible instructor. Explained everything so clearly. especially when starting out lessons, including detailed diagrams so I really could get my head around navigating the roads. Very reliable and flexible and makes fitting lessons around commitments such as college and work easy. I’ve had many different instructors over the years and given up as I just didn’t feel comfortable with them. I’m a very nervous driver and my previous instructors weren’t understanding of this, Julie always made me feel very calm and supported. I have now passed after 10 years! Highly recommend!!

I’ve gone through quite a few instructors in the past and they were no way near as good as julie. I started off pretty nervous when it came to driving but due to julie’s calm attitude and supportive way of teaching I quickly passed within the year! Such a lovely person and brilliant teacher I couldn’t recommend her enough!

I really don’t know what I’m gonna do on Wednesday afternoons now! I regularly looked forward to my lessons as they were very informative, fun and interesting. I would never have passed without Julie’s help. I have zero confidence and bad anxiety and Julie expertly helped me through it by keeping tasks concise and easy to follow. If your looking for an all round excellent driving school then look no further as Drivher is it, learning with Julie is like learning with a family member…only without all the shouting and arguments lol, she makes you feel so comfortable, puts you at ease if ever you feel nervous or uneasy about anything, always on time and very accommodating if you ever need to move your lesson’s about, also your communication with her is not just restricted to lesson’s…you can ask her anything at anytime (within reason) and she’ll get back to you as soon as she can, she’s also very down to earth too…so you’ll probably end up having a really good laugh…all at the same time as learning to drive to the highest standard there is. With Julie’s help and determination I was able to pass 1st time. Julie is down to earth and hardworking. I can honestly say that Julie is the best at what she dose, an absolutely fantastic tutor to have in the passenger seat, for me she was a massive help in both conferences and in practice. Drivher changed my life! Before passing my test I found doing the simplest of jobs difficult without the use of a vehicle. I spent a fortune on taxi’s and getting anyway would take forever. I had put off driving because I lacked confidence and found driving stressful and nerve wrecking! Julie was patient and encouraging. She motivated me when I was at my lowest and when I thought that passing my test was impossible literally dragged me to the finish line! I passed my test first time with Julie in November!!

After 2 previous driving instructors and a lot of anxiety surrounding some previous car incidents Julie always made me feel calm behind the wheel. She is patient and respectful of every individuals learning process can adjust her teaching accordingly. I feel very fortunate to have had Julie as my instructor! I recommend her to everyone 🙂

I can thoroughly recommend Julie if you’re a nervous driver like myself. I’ve just had some refresher lessons with her after not driving for quite some time and her friendly, calm and patient manner helped me to relax and feel more confident behind the wheel.

Having passed my test 9 years ago, I hadn’t driven since. Julie managed to fit me in during a busy time for a few hours of refresher lessons, despite many other instructors not being interested. She even took time out of her day off. After a few hours I was perfectly comfortable again, we covered motorway driving as well which was very useful. I had never really wanted to drive but forced myself to start learning. It was something I had always feared so was extremely nervous. It was clear early on that I was not a natural driver. Julie has always kept me calm and been very patient. She takes the time to explain everything and understand you as an individual to find the best way for you. I am very short in height so methods and line up points for manoeuvres that usually work for others did not work for me. This did not phase Julie she finds way of adapting her teaching methods to suit you. I cannot recommend Julie enough. Julie has been an amazing driving instructor! I can’t thank her enough for all of the help and support she has given me over the last few years. That being with my driving and my personal life. Learning to drive through the Covid pandemic wasn’t easy but Julie always made me feel at ease and helped me gain my confidence through my driving.
I really couldn’t have asked for a better teacher. She is so calming, understanding and so so lovely! Every time I felt like I’d gone back to square one, she always reassured me and pushed me through! I will miss her so much and all of our chats.

Julie is just the best. When my driving instructor let me down right before my test Julie took a chance with me. I can’t thank her enough. Julie explained things that I didn’t know about, showed me examples through diagrams and explained things in a very calm non patronising manner. Julie is a great professional instructor, reasons that put her above the rest are that she is calm, patient, friendly, you feel relaxed learning with her which helps the entire process. She doesn’t drag out the lessons like some instructors, shes very prompt in getting you learning new things. I would deff recommend he,r i passed first time round and she has a great pass rate. Shes very passionate in what she does which enables you to learn a lot at a fast pace or in the pace your comfortable with.

Julie is absolutely fantastic- she is calm, patient, explains what you need to do in great detail and is very knowledgeable with lots of tips and tricks!!!

I cannot recommend Julie enough – i had previously tried the learning to drive experience with two other instructors and i just did not get anywhere. I struggle with confidence and patience and Julie helped me work out both issues. She has such a calming influence and made me feel at ease through everything, never getting the slightest bit flustered, not even at my sometimes stupid mistakes. Extremely helpful, I learnt so much in the couple of months I had Julie. Super friendly and easy to talk to, ensuring the diagrams and explanations of manoeuvres/ positioning on roundabouts were very clear. I got much more confident on the road and improved in loads of areas before I passed first time!!

After learning 2 drive on and off for 3 years I thought I was never gonna pass my driving test. Julie was recommended to me through a family member as I wanted a female instucter after having so many bad lessons with male instucters.Julie made me feel comfortable from day one, it was like going for a drive with a friend not a teacher.Julie was very patient and reliable always making me feel I could reach my target. when I was ready to take my test I was 8 months pregnant and very nervous about driving. I failed my first because of the nerves but julie got me right back in for the next availible test 4 weeks later and I passed with flying colours. I don’t think I would have got myself back up to do the test again but Julie always assured me I was capable and if it wasn’t for her motivating me I wouldn’t have my licence now. THANKYOU JULIE!!!

after going for 2 tests and failed and theory ran out I was on the verge of giving up my old instructor wasn’t teaching me correctly and my confidence was going downhill. In may 2013 I decided to look for another driving instructor I was led to best of Huddersfield and saw Julie and read all her reviews and was liking what I was reading I contacted her and but she was just about to go on a holiday and will be back within 2 weeks and will contact me as soon as Julie got back she did exactly that and lesson was booked. after 1st lesson I couldn’t wait for the next lesson each one after was the exactly the same. I did my 2nd theory test in September 2013 and went to book my 3rd test. Julie taught me everything I needed to inc manoeuvres. I have taken refresher driving lessons from Julie as I had not driven a car much since I got my UK driving license around a decade ago. Julie is an excellent instructor and is very polite, kind, friendly and knowledgeable. Her way of correcting and explaining is great and she made me feel very comfortable. I began lesssons with Julie after my sister had refresher lessons and I instantly felt at ease and felt that the driving was fun and enjoyable. Cannot recommend Julie enough! She was extremely helpful and supportive with any concerns or difficulties I had. Learning to drive in the COVID pandemic has been interesting. I had been learning to drive with my parents from January and needed a driving instructor that allowed me to learn in my own car. I had originally driven with pass’n’go last year and had not only failed my test, but overall had an awful experience with both instructor and during the test. I can’t thank Julie enough for teaching me how to drive! She is a lovely lady who is extremely calm and patient. Julie gave me the confidence and skills to finally pass my test despite the stopping and starting of lessons throughout covid she still supported me every step of the way!

Julie has honestly been the most wonderful driving instructor. It took me a while to get the hang of driving and I very easily overthought and became anxious in so many situations. But Julie stuck by me until the very end and I am amazed I’ve actually passed my driving test. I couldn’t have done it without her. She is a very calm and patient instructor and will always explain things in an accessible way. Whenever I would feel defeated she was supportive and it felt like she really had my back and were doing this together. Because it took me a while to get comfortable and confident driving due to my own anxieties, Julie was with me for two and a half years and became a friend as well as an instructor and I would always look forward to our chats. Thank you for everything Julie, I finally managed to do the impossible and pass my driving test!

After finding Julie after having issues with another instructor Julie has been nothing but patience and kind with me, she’s always on time to lessons and has always been flexible with where necessary, it’s with Julie’s teaching and advice that i passed my test and could not be more grateful. If you are looking for an instructor i would look no further!

Julie is the best instructor you can have she was amazing there was 0 stress every thing went by so fast I still think I’m  dreaming can’t believe I passed first time if your looking for a fantastic instructor look no further thank you Julie so much

Julie helped me clean up all my non-test-passing habits and was completely attentive and sensitive to the fact that I was a licensed driver for 20 yrs in another country on the other side of the road. She also went above and beyond by helping me to feel confident the day before my test when I had recently bumped my car. She took me past the area I had the accident so that I wouldn’t freeze up if I was taken on that route during my test. I’m so grateful to her for helping me get the skills to pass my test. Do not second guess choosing her, you will grateful too!

Thanks to Julie I passed 1st time!!! As soon as you get in the car you feel at ease, any mistakes made she always gives you tips on how to improve next time. Julie is very supportive and patient within the lessons and I’m so Thankful for all her help and highly recommended her to anyone! Thankyou Julie!!

Julie is an absolutely amazing driving instructor. Very friendly and chatty, always kept me at ease and I always looked forward to my driving lessons. I recommend her to everyone 100%. She’s always accommodating when needing lessons and with your timetable. Cannot fault her she’s fantastic at what she does!

I started to learn to drive with Julie as she’d also taught my brother to drive. She’s friendly and patient and there’s never a question you ask her about driving which is daft, she’s willing to answer any question and help you find the best way of learning which suits you, particularly when it comes to the theory test. But the best thing has to be that Julie always has faith and confidence in you that you can do something even if you believe you can’t. If you want a friendly, helpful instructor who will instantly put you at ease and help you feel calm even on test day, then Julie is the driving instructor for you! Thanks for everything Julie!

Just passed today and I can say I’m really going to miss her! Julie is a really good teacher, with lots of patience and a cheery demeanor. She really built up my confidence for just over a year. I would really recommend her for anyone who, like myself would feel more comfortable with a female driving instructor. She is so nice, calm and gives you excellent critique throughout your driving. I recommend her to anyone who wants a driving instructor!

Just passed first time after learning for a relatively short amount of time with Julie and Drivher. I don’t think of myself as being very practical so I cannot say enough good things about how Julie guided me through the process of learning to drive. I never dreaded the lessons as Julie is patient and friendly and I feel I now have the skills to be safe on the road. I would recommend Drivher for anyone wanting to learn to drive.

Julie is absolutely lovely and is an amazing driving instructor, only had her for about a month but she was excellent and managed to fit me in for lessons and my test with a months notice! Would highly recommend and just want to say a massive thank you for all the hard work that you put in for me to pass!

After just finishing some refresher driving lessons with Julie, I couldn’t recommend her more ! I haven’t driven for 3 years and she made me feel calm, comfortable and helped me with my self-confidence. Very good with communicating (explaining clearly how to drive safely whilst in the car and replies quickly over text messages), always arrives on time and makes sure you get your full lesson. I also found it easy to make lessons for the following week which fit around my busy schedule. Would highly recommend !

Julie is the best instructor I could have had- patient, kind and lovely to chat to! From day one I felt at ease (after having a previous instructor who made me very anxious), as we went through the learning process at the right pace and she was always happy to answer any questions/ explain something again for me. I have learnt so much from you Julie, I can’t thank you enough! I’m over the moon to have passed but I’ll miss our car chats!

She kept me going, even through times of doubt. Very well informed and understanding. Goes through each topic in great detail and keeps you calm even when mistakes happen. If you’re ever struggling with a certain area with driving, she allows you to go through it as much as you need until you feel the confidence.

Honestly, a super great teacher, with focus and determination to get you through your test.

Well today I passed my driving test the FIRST TIME!!!! I couldn’t be happier. Even with a year out with covid and being a first time driver, Julie has been a constant encouragement and thorough instructor!! She has a way of teaching you that I think is special. I trusted EVERY word she said would teach me how to be a confident safe driver. I was actually getting sad leading upto my test as I thought, if I do pass I won’t get my weekly lessons with Julie haha she’s just great! I 100% recommended!!!!
